About
I’m Alena, founder of the studio and an interior designer with a university background in design. Interior design has been the focus of my entire professional career, working across residential and commercial projects from concept to completion. Four years ago, I moved to Portugal, which gave me a personal understanding of what it takes to settle into a new environment from navigating language barriers to understanding local systems, services, and everyday logistics. This is why many of my clients are international homeowners and expats.
My approach is functional and space oriented. I focus on how a space works, not only how it looks. With experience in construction and finishing details, I develop practical design solutions that work in real conditions, including complex layouts and budget sensitive projects.
